Millers boosted by weekend feat

Tusker Premier League side Chemelil Sugar managed a crucial weekend win over fellow millers SoNy Sugar away at the Awendo Green Stadium.

Chemelil won the Saturday 20^st October match 1-0 to keep their hopes of participating in the top8 tournament next season.

Stand in coach Mike Mururi while commenting on the win told futaa.com that the players’ morale has been boosted and are ready to fight till the end of the season.

Motivated

-The win was very critical especially being away points in encouraging the players to push on as we continue to fight for a place in the top eight.

-We are determined to ensure that we end the season on despite the stagnation that we have suffered in the recent past.

Mururi was named as a stand in coach after Edward Manoah was sent on compulsory leave a month ago due to the club’s dwindling fortunes.

The Millers are placed eighth on the standings.
