Thika United striker Moses Arita has been recalled to Kenya’s national team Harambee Stars for Tuesday’s (October 16)) international friendly match against Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
Arita, who is said to have replaced Coastal Union midfielder Jerry Santo, is expected to join the camp later in the day (Saturday 13 October).
Excited
-I have just been called by the team’s officials to report back to camp.
-I am on my way to Nairobi and I feel very much honoured for the recall, said Arita to futaa.com.
The Thika striker, who was dropped by Coach Henri Michel last week, will now compete with AJ Auxerre's Dennis Oliech, Genk's Ayub Timbe, Western Stima's Wesley Kemboi and Mathare United's Andrew Tololwa for the starting place.
Apart from Arita, AFC Leopards midfielder
Charles Okwemba is also back in the squad that will face the 2013 AFCON finals hosts.
