Michel lauds character of local-based players

Harambee Stars Head Coach Henri Michel has lauded the spirit of the local-based players who have been in camp since Monday 8 October 2012 South Africa on Tuesday 16 October 2012.

Speaking during a media brief at the Hotel Boulevard on Saturday 13 October 2012, Michel said the players have shown great character and discipline and are eager to learn.

-I’m very happy with the discipline exhibited by these players.  They are very serious, attentive and want to learn which is very important to me. I urge the foreign-based players to have the same attitude too, Michel said.

He also lamented on the late arrival of the foreign-based players saying it has denied him the chance to assess them fully as he wished.

-I did not get the opportunity to evaluate them as I desired but to me it makes no difference, local or foreign-based, I intend to give each a chance.

The match will be played at the Nyayo National Stadium and will kick off at 1900 hours.
