Mathare lineup the finest against City Stars

Ahead of a Tusker Premier League clash against Nairobi City Stars set for Saturday 15 September 2012, 2008 League Champions Mathare United have named the best of the best for the game.

The tie that will be played at the Hope Centre from 1500hrs will see the League’s 2010 runner up keeper of the Year Martin Musalia start between the posts.

To shield him from City Stars attacks will be National team Central defenders Lloyd Wahome and Anthony modo Kimani. Athman Buki and John Odhiambo complete the backline setup.

Waithera

Upfront, 2008 top scorer and the League’s player of the Year Francis Ouma has been preferred ahead of the very enterprising Jesse Jackson Were who starts off the bench.

Simon Mburu, Andrew Tololwa also starts as Joseph Waithera Mwangi, Gabriel Nduru and Ken Omogi start off the bench.

From 23 games, Mathare United is placed 12^th with 27 points, four points behind the team set to host them on Saturday afternoon.
