Matano: We don't play for other teams

Tusker

As Tusker FC take on KCB in a Tusker Premier League match to be played on Monday 17 September at the City Stadium, head Coach Robert Matano says his side is well prepared.

-We have been training hard and we are ready for the match, said Matano.

Matano also confirmed that his players have now picked up his coaching philosophy and are gradually putting it to use.

-The players are coming up so well-We started in a shaky way but the few matches we have played show that we are picking up on the concentration.

Advantage

With AFC Leopards, currently sitting atop the league losing their weekend matches, Tusker are better poised to ascend to the top of the league, with a win in their Monday match.

However, Matano shrugs off the obvious advantage that the loss gave his side.

-It is always good when you win the matches-We are not playing for AFC or any other team for that matter. If we win good for us, they lose even better for us.

The match will kick off at 1600hrs
