Matano plays down title decider tag ahead of Gor tie

The reigning Tusker Premier League [TPL] Champions Tusker will do battle with Gor Mahia, on Sunday 28 October, in a crunch tie, at City Stadium.

Even though the match is being billed as a title decider, Tusker Coach Robert Matano is determined to play down the significance of the clash.

With three matches to go, the Brewers are currently topping the table, two points ahead of their Saturday opponents, Gor.

No special consideration

But according to the former AFC Leopards and Sofapaka Coach all the remaining three matches [Gor, Western Stima and Nairobi City Stars] are their title decider.

- Gor match is not a title decider; it’s just like any other match.

-As far as I am concerned, all our remaining three matches are very important and those are the deciders.

-This is a game of football, if we win against Gor Mahia and loose the other two matches, we cannot retain the title.

-So, we’ll approach them game by game and there will be no special consideration to any, said Matano to futaa.com.
