Manoah satisfied with draw

Manoah/Muiruri
Chemelil Sugar Head Coach Edward Manoah expressed his satisfaction following the team’s barren draw with KCB in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match played on Friday 10 August at the City Stadium.

Sturdy

-We have to look at the result on a positive note. This is one point gained rather than two lost and it’s a good result since we were playing away, Manoah said after the game.

The coach also emphasized on the importance of the team registering good results in its upcoming matches adding that the players have to work harder than they’ve done before.

-The second leg is proving to be a bit difficult for us. It’s becoming tough and we seem to be struggling. My players have to put in more effort to ensure we perform better in the upcoming games, he said.

Chemelil are now ninth with 26 points from 21 games and will host 2010 KPL champions Ulinzi Stars on Saturday 18 August 2012.
