Manoah hails Chemelil character

Manoah/Muiruri

Chemelil Sugar coach Edward Manoah has heaped praise on his charges after fighting to a 1 – 1 draw from a losing position in their Saturday 25 August Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match against Sofapaka at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Satisfied

Charles Odero stepped forward to score a stoppage time penalty that cancelled out John Baraza’s first half strike and coach Manoah, speaking after the game, lauded the players’ output, and admitted his satisfaction at the result.

-That was a good show from my players; good character to come back and I strongly believe we deserved to get something from the game.

Work hard

-Lately we have been struggling but from the performance in the last two matches, it is clear we are picking up and the players know there is no shortcut here but to work hard.

-I am satisfied with the result today and the way we played – we were dominant in the middle and created enough chances to deserve the point, he said.
