Manchester United and Arsenal have joined the chase for Kenyan international midfielder Victor Wanyama.
According to the Daily Mail, scouts from both teams watched Wanyama in Celtic’s 1-0 loss to Norwich in Tuesday’s preseason friendly match at Celtic Park.
This comes just a few days after the English Premier League (EPL) champions Manchester City expressed their interest in signing the 21 year old midfielder.

Wanyama had earlier stated his desire to join EPL, but it seems like the Scottish Premier League champions are not willing to let the player go as he has been a revelation for the Hoops since his move from Belgian side Beerschot AC last summer.
More-so, Neil Lennon is also worried about the future of Israeli midfielder Beram Kayal who has been linked with a move to Southampton.
In the recent past weeks, Wanyama has been on headlines attracting interest from a host of teams across Europe including Chelsea, Newcastle United, Liverpool, Queens Park Rangers, Stoke, Everton, Swansea and West Ham United (All in EPL), FC Stade Rennes (Ligue 1) and Italian Seria A giants Juventus.
