City picked up a 1-0 over hosts Aston Villa in a league game played at the
Villa Park on Monday 4 March 2013.
The lone goal of the game came late in the first half when Carlos Tevez capitalized on an error by Villa skipper Ciaran Clark.

Clark, when expected to play safe, opted to take a turn. He slipped, was disposesed by Edin Dzeko whose feed found Tevez who planted home the only goal of the game.
Dzeko had come in as a 25th minute substitute for Jack Rodwell who had to be pulled out after a harm string injury recurred.
Remains in relegation
With the win, the Champions improve their season haul to 59 points from 28 games to reduce the gap set by leaders Manchester United from 15 to 12 points.
With the loss, the 14th of 28 games this season, Aston Villa remains in relegation spot 18 with 24 points one ahead of Reading and four of bottom placed Queens Park Rangers.
