Manchester City defender Micah Richards is likely to be sidelined for three months after undergoing a surgery on a knee injury suffered during Saturday’s (October 27) 1-0 win over Swansea.
Collapsed
According to ESPN, the Englishman who collapsed in an off the ball incident during the tie, underwent an operation at Manchester hospital on Monday to repair torn knee cartilage.
However, reports indicate that the fullback is doubtful for City’s must-win Champions League encounter against Ajax and a league tie against Tottenham Hotspur before Christmas.
