Manchester City has become the first team to publicly admit an interest in Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao.
The Colombian, who has scored in each of his last 10 competitive matches for club and country, has attracted a lot of transfer speculation, with Chelsea and Real Madrid continually linked to the N12 Billion (€60m) rated man.
Possibility
However, it is only Premier League champions City that have commented indirectly in the public domain of the possibility of moving for the player, via chief scout Carlo Cancellieri.
- I have recently spoken with Roberto Mancini and have advised that if they are to buy any player in January then only to go for Falcao, Cancellieri told Tuttomercato.
- He is a great player and the only one that we would move for.
