Nzoia United recovered from their 2-0 defeat to Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu Stadium to 1-2 win over their hosts Shabana in a in a Division One [Western Zone] duel, on Saturday 13 October, at Gusii Stadium.

Prolific Valen Mahero broke the deadlock on the stroke of half time, to take his tally to 23 goals for the season.

Bounce back

Kevin Mutiti hit the winner in the 50^th minute to secure the three maximum points for the Bungoma-based side.

Despite the win, Nzoia are still at position five, 29 points ahead of 13^th placed Shabana.
