After a recent 1-0 loss at
the hands of Kakamega Homeboyz, former Kenyan Premier League side Agro
Chemicals got their title challenge back on track with a hard fought 1-0 win
over visiting Longonort Horticulture.
Drought
The two teams went to the break even at 0-0 but Agro went a digit up two minutes to the hour mark with a goal from John Mwita, his 14th goal of the season.
The lone goal stood to the very end to send Agro Chemicals to 69 points, and off third spot to third place behind Nakuru AllStars on goal difference.
Till his recent goal, Mwita had been on a drought since Saturday 11 August 2012 when he scored a brace to lead his side to a 2-1 win over Rush.
