After seeing his side beat Ulinzi Stars 0-2 to lift the Kenyan Premier League Top Eight Trophy, on Sunday 19 August, Gor Mahia Coach Zradvko Logarusic lavished the performance of the team but insisted that there is still room for improvement.
The holders should blame themselves for wasting a couple of scoring opportunities with Antony Nderitu’s penalty miss being the best chance of the match.
Strong bench
-Ulinzi gave us a good game and I think the penalty miss destructed them. I am happy we won it, but we didn’t play our style.
-This is our fourteenth official game that we have played without losing. Credit goes to our way of training and the bench-power. We are now dangerous in all areas; defense, midfield and striking.
-We are taking game by game in the league. The players are really working hard but as far as I am concerned we still have a room for improvement, said Logarusic after the match.
Rama Salim and Itubu Imbem won the match for K’ogalo in the extra time, after a barren draw in the normal time.
