Just a few days after Gor Mahia’s Ugandan born forward Dani Sserenkuma expressed his desire to change his nationality to Kenyan, Coach Zdravko Logarusic has called upon the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to consider the player’s request.
Sserenkuma has been in a splendid form since he joined Gor in the mid-season transfer, forming a deadly striking partnership with Rama Salim; the duo has scored a total number of 23 goals in the league, steering Gor from relegation zone to genuine title contenders.

According to the Croatian born tactician, the former Nairobi City Stars striker, who’s in love with Kenya, is at the top of his game and he can transform his club form onto the national stage.
-I think it is nice idea. Sserenkuma is scoring goals and he’s in good form. As a coach, I think he loves this country but it’s upon the officials to make the decision.
-The player has already showed his interest and it’s now upon the officials to say whether they need him or not. That's not my job but let the people who are running football in the country make the final decision, said Logarusic to futaa.com.
Sserenkuma is currently the second leading goal scorer in the Tusker Premier League, with 12 goals under his name.
