Division one new boys FC Talanta were on course for a much needed win over Ligi Ndogo but had to share the spoils as their Division One tie at the City Stadium on Saturday 5 May 2013 ended 3-3.
Ligi Ndogo who scored late in the past weekend to force Bidco United to a late 2-2 draw had to pull out the same script tie the game in the most unlikely minute – the eight of added time.
Former FC 105 striker Patrick Muchiri opened the scoring in just the sixth minute and four minutes later Ligi Ndogo were 2-0 down after former Kenya U20 player George Nzenze scored the second.
But the Ngong road based club recovered to level matters at 2-2 by the break. Cliff Ouma scored twice – at the half hour mark with his second coming six minutes later.
FC Talanta took the lead once again two minutes to the hour mark, the goal coming off Moses Kiplangat.
However Ligi Ndogo would have the last laugh with a very late equalizer off Nigerian Philip Ugochukwu.
With a point, Ligi Ndogo improves to nine points from six games to maintain spot five in the 12-team Zone A group 1. FC Talanta sits just above at fifth spot with 11 points from seven games.
