Four players scouted in the recently concluded Airtel Rising Stars Secondary School Games in Mombasa, have been invited for trials at Thika United FC.
AFC Leopards’ target Michael Olunga of Upper Hill and Kakamega High’s Sammy Mejja are among the four players invited by the Kenyan Premier League side.
-I identified four talented players in Mombasa. I talked to them personally and the ball is now in their court; we are waiting them for trials, said Thika CEO Mike Muriuki to futaa.com.
-Olunga is a promising player; with all qualities and I have heard that AFC are also interested in him. All the same, he is the one to make the final decision, he added.
