Leopards’ legend saddened

Peter Lichungu

Former AFC Leopards’ player Peter Lichungu is a worries man owing to the club’s recent performance in the Tusker Premier League.

Lichungu blames the community club for squandering a golden chance to cement a commanding lead at the peak of the league releasing the gas pedal.

Arithmetic time

-The club has now resulted to careful arithmetic in a bid to clinch the title which leaves them in a complicated situation. AFC needs to play the remaining matches like a final.

-The lack of reliability is also not healthy at all and now that we are facing Oserian away we need to bounce back in style.

AFC Leopards who had taken a commanding lead in the second leg have dropped to third after four-match winless streak that almost cost Jan Koops his job as the head coach.

Ingwe has however managed to remain among the top teams with consecutive wins in the last two matches.

He [Lichungu] expressed his concerns to futaa.com ahead of their weekend match against relegation threatened Oserian FC in Naivasha.
