After years of political wrangles, finally AFC Leopards will be holding it’s elections mid next month during the Annual General Meeting [AGM] as the term of the current office ends on Tuesday 6 March, says acting Secretary General Duncan Angode.

According to the acting Secretary General, they’re abiding to their promise of holding the elections immediately their tenure runs-out.

end of tenure

-Since our term ends on March 6 as we had promised, we must hold elections immediately it expires. Therefore, the AGM might be on Sunday 11 March 2012, Angode told futaa.com.

-I hope the committee will adhere to this so that we can end these wrangles once and for all, continued the official.

-Let those who have been yearning for the club’s leadership, campaign peacefully and we assure, if they win fairly we’ll hand over the office in a very peaceful manner for the good of the club, promised the official.

God’s grace

The Executive Committee (EC) is set to meet next week to come up with the date and programs for the AGM.

-It’s been a very difficult season for us, but I’m glad God was with us. I thank our Chairman-Alex Magelo for sacrificing his time in providing good leadership for the love of this club, concluded Angode.
