Leopards focus on winning remaining matches

After propelling his side to a 2-1 win over Karuturi Sports last weekend, AFC Leopards striker Victor Ochieng’ is confident that Ingwe will win their remaining Tusker Premier League matches.

With three matches to go, Leopards are sitting three points shy-of league leaders Tusker but the former Chemelil Sugar hit-man believes that the title race will go down to the wire.

-The league is at a crucial stage and we want to win all the remaining matches. We don’t want to rely on other teams, whatever the outcome.

-Even though it’s a tricky situation, our target is to get all the nine points.

-I know each team is focusing on its remaining fixtures but I am optimistic we will win all of them, said Ochieng’ to futaa.com.

Ochieng’ has so far scored six goals in the league this season, one less than club's joint leading scorers Mike Barasa and Allan Wanga.

Leopards are scheduled to travel to Naivasha on Saturday 27 October for their next league match against relegation-threatened side Oserian.
