Lavatsa-I am at Gor to stay

.

Gor Mahia FC prolific striker Edwin Lavatsa, has rebuffed off all the speculation leading to his departure from K’ogalo any time soon.

Lavatsa made a heroic return to Gor after missing a training session for two consecutive weeks with a fantastic goal in their 1-0 win over Sofapaka FC in the FK Cup finals on Wednesday 26 October booking them a ticket to CAF Confederation cup next year.

According to the club’s official website, gorfc.com the teenager committed himself to Gor dismissing all reports linking him to another club.

false reports

He accused the media claims that he abandoned his team mysteriously terming the accusations as ‘false and damage to his career and personality’

-I am here to stay. The accusations are false and damaging my career and personality said Lavatsa who has also earned a call up to the national team Harambee Stars.

-It was a shock to me when I heard that I had disappeared from the club and had been seen training with another club, explained the former Upper Hill student.

Lavatsa was instrumental in Gor's last weekends' 2-1 win over visiting SoNy Sugar at City Stadium on October 30th propelling them to the fifth slot on the KPL log with 41 points.
