After another round of games at the weekend in Nyanza West Provincial League, Kisumu Youth Olympic Centre (KYOC) remains as the only unbeaten team in the 14-team league.
Ahero Rangers remains rooted at the bottom
On Saturday 23 June, KYOC blanked visiting Ahero Rangers 4-1 in a game played at the Kenyatta Sports Grounds to registers a seventh straight win that kept them top of the log with a maximum 21 points.
Having been handed a fifth loss in seven games, winless Ahero Rangers remains rooted at the bottom of the log with two points.
Also remaining unbeaten in the league is KYSNET who managed a 0-0 draw on the same Saturday against Sega Sega in a game played at Shaurimoyo Primary School.
Siaya Rangers sit ahead
Though unbeaten, KYSNET with two wins and four draws is placed seventh with ten points, seven positions better than Sega Sega who are on six points after seven rounds of play.
Siaya Rangers FC have now moved above Real Kisumu to settle at third with 16 points after the team saw off Kimsya 3-0 at the Siaya Stadium on Saturday.
With 16 points, Siaya Rangers sit ahead of the former Nationwide team who managed a 1-1 draw with 2010 Safaricom Sakata Ball finalists Bondo United on Sunday 24 June in a game played at the Bondo University.
Beaten for the fifth
With four points from seven games, Kimsya is 11th on the log while Bondo United are fifth with 12 points from eight games.
After a hard fought 3-2 win over Midika FC on Saturday at Raliew Grounds, Rarieda have now moved second on the with 18 points from seven games.
Beaten for the fifth time in six games, Midika are left tethering at second from bottom with three points.
Julu Nyabungu now sits at sixth
In two final Sunday games, Amani beat host Green Berets 2-3 in a game played at Kibos Prison while Julu Nyabungu FC nailed Kibos Prison 2-0 in a game played at Obwolo grounds.
With 12 points, Julu Nyabungu now sits at sixth behind Bondo on goal difference while Amani is eighth with nine points. Green Berets and Kibos Prison take up slots nine and ten with seven and six points respectively.
