KSSSA: Upper Hill rollover Tetu

It was indeed an uphill task for Central representatives Tetu High School against Nairobi’s Upper Hill High as the team fell 6-1 in a Group B opener played on Tuesday 7 August 2012 at Shanzu College.

Early goals left Tetu unsettled in the Airtel sponsored Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) tie and the team went reeling at the break trialing the 1500hrs kick off 4-0.

Calvin Odongo opened the scores in the fourth minute and four minutes on, the score was 2-0 through Mike Olunga.

On 15 minutes the score stood at 3-0 after Olunga added his second and a minute to the break he scored a fourth to complete his brace.

In between Olunga’s last two, Upper Hill scored a fourth goal on 23 minutes through Timothy Lutta.

Odongo completed the scoring for UIpper Hill five minutes after the break. Tetu got a consolation to make it 6-1.

Tetu will have to pick themselves up on ahead of a Wednesday 8 August tie Kakamega High who kicked off their Group B tie played on Tuesday 7th with a 3-1 win over Kibirichia from Eastern
