KSSSA: St Johns Kaloleni to join Tartar in the finals

An extra time goal by Rehema Chali allowed St Johns Kaloleni to progress into the finals of the Airtel Rising Stars Kenya Secondary School games, currently going on in Mombasa.

This was in their semi-final match against Olympic Girls.

The two teams were tied on barren draw, by the end of regulation time, with Chali coming through to break the deadlock in the first half of extra time.

Opponents

St Johns now meet Tartar Girls in the finals to be played on Saturday 11 August, while Olympic take on Kobala Girls for the third-place play-offs.

The match was played on Friday 10 August at the Shimmo la Tewa grounds starting 1000hrs.
