On Tuesday 7 August 2012, Kobala Girls' Secondary met with Kilifi Mixed in the ongoing Airtel sponsored Nationals of the Secondary School Sports Association (KSSSA) ball games.
The match, played at the Shanzu College in Mombasa, ended on
a 2-2 draw, with Kilifi’s goals being the first to score, through Nuru Mustapha
and Elmina Zero.

Kobala fought back to pick a point from the match by the time the final whistle was blown.
The tournament is sponsored by mobile telecommunications services provider Airtel.
