KSSSA: Kakamega High beat Tetu to sail through

The Airtel Rising Stars national secondary schools games continued on Wednesday 8 August with former champions Kakamega High School beating Central Province representatives Tetu High 2 – 1 to book a place in the semi finals.

Kenya U20 international Timothy Otieno was the key architect for the first goal, supplying the pass to Jacob Onyango after 15 minutes for the opener then he was on the mark to double the scores in the 35th minute, converting a fine pass by Anderson Essie.

Consolation

The Central Province side, however, got a consolation through Moses Muturi with 15 minutes to go in the game.

The result officially implies that Tetu High are eliminated after suffering a heavy defeat at the hands of Upper Hill in the first day of the competition. They however, still have to play Eastern representatives Kibirichia High in their final game.
