At the conclusion of the third round of games
in both Group A
and Group B of the ongoing Airtel Rising Stars Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) national ball games on Thursday 9 August 2012 at Shimmo La Tewa in Mombasa, the order of the tables
are now complete.
Nine points
St. Anthony’s of Kitale lead Nyanza and reigning Champions Gekomoni and Coast representative Tononoka in Group A in that order on goal difference. All the teams ended their three day preliminary agenda on six points. North Eastern’s Garissa High ended up fourth and last with no points.
In Group B, Nairobi’s Upper Hill tops the charts with a clean nine points from three games and second comes Kakamega High of Western with six points.
Eastern’s Kibirichia takes third with Central’s Tetu High wrapping up the slot son the table.
Champions Gekomoni
With the tables complete after all preliminaries, St. Anthony will now face off with Kakamega High in the semis as Champions Gekomoni takes on Upper Hill.
The two semis will be played on Friday from 1100hrs. The winners from the two ties will face off to be crowned the Airtel Rising Stars 2012 National Champion on Saturday 11 August from 1300hrs.
The semis loser will curtain raise the final with a loser’s final from 1100hrs.
