In the original Football Kenya Federation [FKF] draw flow released for the Cup, Kenya Revenue Authority [KRA], after going through the various pre-qualification matches, qualified to take on Karuturi Sports in the quarterfinals.
AFC Leopards on the other hand were to meet Sofapaka in the round of eight.
However, in a recent fixtures sheet released by FKF, KRA are set to play Sofapaka, as AFC have been booked to take on Karuturi.
This new arrangement has got KRA’s head Coach Ken Kenyatta irked and he questions the real motive of the Federation.
-When we came for the draw, it was very clear who was meeting who if they proceeded from the round of 32 of the final, Kenyatta told Futaa.com.
-From the provided chart during the draw, we knew we were to meet the winner of the match between Karuturi and Nairobi Stima.
-So why does KRA have a different opponent, contrary to the draw? FKF needs to explain.
The quarter finals are set for play on 18 September.
