KPL top scorer benched as Sofa eye Rangers scalp

Sofapaka coach Stewart John Hall has named his team to face off with bottom placed Rangers FC in the two sides Tusker Premier League (TPL) encounter at the Nairobi City Stadium on Sunday 21 October.

Notably, John Baraza, the league’s best scorer has been left on the bench as Congolese import Robert Binja is preferred as he goes in search of his first league goal. Binja will be assisted upfront by Humphrey Mieno.

Abdalla Juma also makes a return after a long time out and will slot in at the left back while the captain, James Situma reverts to the right side of defence. The shakeup also means George Owino will operate as a midfielder alongside Osborne Monday.

Want away forward Bob Mugalia is named to the bench as is John Njoroge and Thomas Wanyama.
