Koops supports Cup deferment

Koops

AFC Leopards coach Jan Koops has added his voice to the calls for the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to shift the President’s Cup fixtures to November after the regular league season is up.

Concentrate

Koops’ team beat Karuturi Sport in the quarter finals at the Mumias Sports Complex to set a semi final encounter with Gor Mahia and with the league at its final stretch the Dutchman has called on the federation to consider allowing team to concentrate on the remaining matches.

Targets

-On a personal opinion I think it is good that the federation shifts the cup matches to a later date, perhaps in November after we are done with the league assignments. Right now every team has targets in the league and would not want any disruptions so I am for the idea that we be allowed to concentrate on it, he told futaa.com.

AFC Leopards are set to meet Ulinzi Stars in their next league encounter.
