Koops lands a-one-year deal

After months of searching finally, Dutchman Jan Koops has found a club.

The former AFC Leopards has penned a one year deal with newly-promoted Division One League side Kolongolo FC.

Confirming the news to futaa.com, Kolongolo Chairman Kizito Namulanda exuded confidence that the Dutchman will guide the team to the Tusker Premier League [TPL] at the close of the season.

-Koops has vast experience in Tusker Premier League, and I know he will help us achieve our objective; qualify for TPL, said Namulanda.

Unveiling Ceremony

Koops, who will be unveiled on March 9, at Nambale Grounds, was dismissed by Leopards at the close of the 2012 season after the club failed to win any silverware.
