Koops hails his technical players for the win against K’ogalo

AFC Leopards head coach Jan Koops has hailed his players for the great play that they showed in their game against Gor Mahia.

Speaking after the match, the coach said that the sweet victory was as a result of the players’ hard work and improved attitude towards play.

Technical ability worked for us

- We maintained possession and used our technical players who can play and pass the ball around and in all directions.

- The team has shown that we are very strong by giving us the sweet victory against our weekend opponents. We improved from our last performance where we had many blunders but our defense was way better in the match.

Headed to the top

The coach said that they were still focused on the top and would not relent on their quest for glory.

- We are now just one point behind Gor Mahia and headed to the top. There are also six matches left in the league so we are hoping for the best, he concluded.
