On Saturday 27 October 2012, AFC Leopards came from behind to see off relegation threatened Oserian 1-3 in a Tusker Premier League tie played out in Oserian from 1600hrs local time.

Oserian scored early through former Leopards player Ben Barasa but worked their way back in the game with two quick goals on 12 and 14 minutes through Mike Baraza and Bernard Mangoli to level then take the lead in the game.
A late goal by Charles Okwemba saw the side claim three points that sent ingwe level on points with leaders Tusker and second on the log above rivals Gor Mahia.
For Koops, fighting spirit won the game for his side
- After going down it was a little difficult for us but then the fighting spirit of our players gave us the advantage, he said in a post game interview
The Coach was also categorical that his side did not have a mind on a Sunday game between Gor Mahia and Tusker that has been dubbed as the title decider.
