After beating Butula FC 3-0 in their last match, played on Sunday 9 September, Kolongolo FC, who play in Zone B of the Western Provincial League, have made the promotion play-offs, .
Goals
In the match, the first goal was netted in 23rd minute by Christopher Mahero, who took advantage of a rebound after a Fredrick Baraza shot was repulsed by Butula’s keeper.
The second goal of the day was scored by Castrol Okwara, who netted a penalty awarded after he was felled in the box.

After the win, Kolongolo, who collected a total of 43 points are set to play in a promotion mini-league, featuring the winners of Group A of the Western Zone and the winners of Group A and B of the Nothern Zone, scheduled on Friday 5 October, at the Mumias Sports Complex.
Second-placed Lakeview, currently with 38 points and a four-match advantage are also set to make the play-offs, which will feature the top two teams from each Zone.
The winner from the mini-league will be promoted to the Western Zone of the Division One.
