Kokoyo eyeing top five

Ulinzi

The immediate former Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions Ulinzi Stars are scheduled to take on Gor Mahia on Wednesday 5 September at the Niarobi City Stadium as from 1600hrs.

Emerge best

The prize for the winner in the encounter is a rise to third place in the 16 team log, level on points with reigning champions Tusker and the army men’s skipper Geoffrey Kokoyo hopes they will emerge best.

Speaking to his club’s official site, ulinzistarsfc.com, Kokoyo admitted that after the defeat to Chemelil Sugar in their last game, they are wounded and will be giving their best at City Stadium to make up for the lost points.

Wounded

- We dropped points against Chemelil and that was not good for us because we needed to cut the difference between us and the top teams. In this match we are going out for a win and we will fight for it.

-We will fight like wounded buffaloes. We promise to give our all and get ourselves back to the top five, he said.
