K'Ogalo opponents yearning for the Milk Derby

Kenyan Premier League side Thika United cannot wait to take on their first 2012 season opponents Gor Mahia when the two sides clash on Sunday 12 February 2012 at the Thika Municipal Stadium.

According to Coach John Kamau, the club has gone through enough preparations and believes that his squad has what it takes to start on a high.

Eyes on Gor

-We are now fully focused on the Milk Derby next weekend when we host Gor Mahia and that is what we are concentrating on in training at the moment.

-I believe that with the kind of quality I have witnessed during the pre-season then we can kick off the season on a flying start.

Kamau however insists that the Brookside Boys are treating the match with no special consideration despite it being against a top side and their first of the season.

Gor Mahia are sponsored by Tuzo Milk Brand while Thika are under the sponsorship of Brookside Dairies.
