Nairobi Provincial League (NPL) side KNH FC beat Huruma Youth by a solitary goal in a match played on Saturday 6 October 2012 at the Kenyatta National Hospital Grounds.
The all important goal was scored by Godfrey Eboue Ongandi in the 22nd minute after receiving a through pass from Ben Nyakundi to beat Huruma Youth custodian with a low shot from the edge of the box.
Hard time
Speaking after the match, KNH Head Coach George Makambi was happy with the result but admitted the opponents gave them a hard time.
-Huruma Youth played really well especially in the second half. But in the long run what matters is maximum points and I’m happy we won, Makambi told futaa.com.
Jericho AllStars top the NPL table with 83 points from 38 games and have already clinched the title.
