Two games were played on Sunday 7 October 2012 in the Nairobi Provincial League.
Godfrey Eboue Ongandi scored in the 14th minute as KNH FC beat St.John’s 2-1 at the Babadogo Grounds. The second was courtesy of an own goal by a St. John’s defender who headed into his own net in an attempt to clear a Victor Vinchi cross from the left. St. John’s pulled one back in the 65th minute but were unable to find the equalizer, game ending 2-1 in favour of KNH.
Congratulations
KNH Head Coach George Mukambi was a happy man after the win and heaped praise on custodian Stephen Onger and defender Victor Vinchi.
- .I wish to congratulate my Technical team for patience and character exercised during the season but more specifically to goalkeeper Onger and victor vinchi for their efforts on this specific match. The win takes us to 50points which is the safety zone, Mukambi told futaa.com.
In the other match played on the same day, Huruma Youth and Uprising played to a barren draw.
