Kisii United point fingers at MOYAS

Matuu

On Wednesday 12 September, Matuu handed the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports [MOYAS] Ladies a 5-0 thrashing in their Girls’ Premier League match, played at the Nyayo National Stadium.

The result, according to Kisii United head Coach Henry Nyaberi, is a clear indication of MOYAS’ strength.

-The match is a true picture of what happens in our league- MOYAS FC arethat weak. They are only ranked well in the standings by using the office and referees, Nyaberi told Futaa.com.

Evidence

To substantiate his claims of MOYAS working with administrators of the league to win matches, Nyaberi cites the outcome of their home match against MOYAS played on 26 August.

-We were leading 2-1 when they demanded for police and then abandoned the match. They were later awarded the match.

Ideals

Nyaberi also indicates that if his side is given a neutral ground, with neutral referees, they [Kisii] would mete justice on MOYAS.

-If we met them at Nyayo, with good officiating, we can beat them 3-0.

Kisii are currently ranked eighth in the 12 team league, while MOYAS are placed second.
