With only one match to the end of the 2012 season of the FKF Girls Premier League, Kisii United head Coach Henry Nyaberi says he is happy with having his team finish among the top five.
Kisii are currently ranked fourth in the league’s standings. With 35 points, this is the best position they can finish in.
On the other hand, should they lose their next match, they could be overtaken by the three teams coming immediately behind them.
Next season
Nyaberi, however, says he is sure his charges will impress in the next match and he is, therefore, not worried.
-We had set out this season to build a team and so far, we have managed to achieve this objective, Nyaberi told Futaa.com.
-When we come back for the next season, we should be in a position to challenge for the title.
Tough league
Nyaberi also underscores the fact that the league has been very competitive, and that teams have been coming out stronger and stronger.
-The league has shaped out to be very tough, but we appreciate this competitive environment as it makes us work even harder to improve our game.
Leaders
Currently, Matuu lead the league, followed by Moyas Ladies, who are one point behind.
