Kisii United Coach happy at the end game

Misc

On Sunday 7 October 2012, Kisii United concluded its round 22 of games in the 12-team FKF Girls Premier League with a 3-0 beating of Kisumu’s Galactico Youth in Kisii.

Goal difference

The win sent the team to 38 points to confirm a fourth place finish in the league ahead of Mombasa’s Spedag on goal difference.

That fete left the side’s outspoken Coach Henry Nyaberi a happy man. Over and above, he hit below the belt at what he feels never pleased him.

Officiating

-Being the first time that the league was run by the new office (Football Kenya Federation), I’d say it was run well.

-There were however some challenges. My team (Kisii United) was the team that ended as the best behind three Nairobi teams.

-But that is not to say that the three were better than my team –it is because the Nairobi teams were favored especially with officiating

Claimed by Matuu

-I do hope that next season the running of the league will be better, he concluded.

The league was claimed by Matuu who with 58 points finished a point ahead of Moyas Ladies. Old is Gold came in third with 53 points.
