The expected changes at the Harambee Stars technical bench have already rung in, with the removal of Francis Kimanzi from the position of head Coach.
The tactician has now been made acting Football Kenya Federation’s
Technical Director, a position hitherto occupied by Patrick Naggi.
This is as per confirmation by Football Kenya Federation's media office.
Kimanzi had been in charge as the Stars drew 0-0 with Malawi, lost 0-1 to Namibia and 0-1 to Togo, between 2 June and 17.
Since taking over in November 2011, in his second stint, Kimanzi has seen the team through nine games, four wins, one draw four loses.
In his first duty as Stars coach, spanning between May 2008
and January 2009, Kimanzi oversaw 13 games, out of which he collected six wins, four draws
and three loses.
His current record now reads 22 played matches, out of which he has registered ten wins, five draws and seven loses.
