Mathare United skipper Antony Kimani believes their recent fine run of form will fire the former Tusker Premier League champions into the top-eight finish this season.
Mathare have lost only one of their last 13 league matches and with three games to go, the Kenyan international defender is hoping his side will continue with their unbeaten run.
Good run
-We thank God for the second leg results. We are doing well and I am happy our tactics are really working.
-We have lost only one game, against Thika United, since the beginning of the reverse leg; that’s a good show. I hope we will continue with the winning streak and finish among the top eight, said Kimani to futaa.com.
Three matches
After Saturday’s 1-0 win over Oserian, Mathare are ranked ninth on the pile with 35 points, one below eighth placed Chemelil Sugar.
Mathare are scheduled to clash against KCB, AFC Leopards and SoNy Sugar before the end of the campaign.
