The Hope Centre in Kawangware played host to the top two sides in the Nairobi District League zone C, with Intercity coming out on top in the regular season and Kibera just behind.
This time though, the tables were turned on the regular season winners, with Yusuf Majid scoring the lone goal on 82 minutes to grant Kibera the win.
Preparation
Majid was fed by a good cross form Athman Mohammed to tidily finish with eight minutes to go. At the end of the day, Intercity will blame only themselves for the loss, as they missed numerous opportunities to get on the scoresheet.
It was a good win for Kibera and a loss that Intercity could do without, as they prepare for the post season playoffs.
On Wednesday 26 September 2012, Intercity held Provincial League side Red Carpet to a goalless draw in another friendly match.
