Keshi to name squad to face Kenya

Nigeria’s Super Eagles Coach Stephen Keshi will name his 25-man squad for the upcoming 2014 World Cup qualifying match against Harambee Stars of Kenya, in Calabar.

According to mtn.foootball.com, the former Mali national team’s tactician is expected to meet the technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation [NFF] before announcing the team.

- Keshi is to defend his team list for the World Cup qualifier against Kenya on Wednesday before the list is released.

-Coach Stephen Keshi is expected to come up with a 25-man list for the game against Kenya, said NFF General Secretary Musa Amadu.

New call-ups

Some of the players likely to earn a recall to the team include Inter Milan’s defensive midfielder Joel Obi and Shola Ameobi of Newcastle.

The AFCON Champions will resume training this weekend in Abuja with players from the domestic league before they relocate to Calabar a week to the match.
