John Keo and Joseph Okumu have returned to the Oserian fold after some time out and coach Sammy Pamzo Omollo, who was instrumental in their return says so far they have impressed him.
The two were dropped at the beginning of August but made appearances against KCB in a friendly match on Wednesday 5 September with Okumu playing full time and Omollo has described the returnees as influential players.
Oserian is deep in the relegation zone and at risk of going down just a season after winning promotion but Pamzo says with the quality of the two players and the others already in the team survival remains a reality.
-Okumu and Keo have really impressed since returning to the team – their impact has been very clear and they add more options for me upfront where we have had the biggest problem in the season.
-In the friendly against KCB I had an opportunity to see them and I will once again study them against Karuturi on Wednesday but in all other aspects, like training, encouraging and motivating others they are on top.
-They are good additions and with the others already in the team I know we will survive; it is just a matter of time, he told futaa.com.
