Dropped Oserian FC captain John Keo is unhappy with his contract termination by the Flower-men, as he feels he was victimized.
Keo was among the four players released by the Kenyan Premier League side, on Thursday 2 August, citing that they were underperforming.
Betrayed
-We have had issues of victimizations and allegations in the team. We understand that of recent past, the team has not been performing well but for me, taking such a decision is a shift of blame.
-Where do they expect us to go at this time of the season? That’s very unprofessional and unfair, but I hope they will work hard and avoid relegation.
Regret
-As a captain, I have always been committed to giving my best. I was really surprised when I received my termination letter last evening. Unfortunately they didn’t even explain the reasons behind that action. Many teams approached at the begining of the season but I opted for Oserian, I am now regretting.
-But as far as I am concerned, I was victimized and there is more than meets the eye for their decision. Only time will tell, added the midfielder.
Keo’s one year contract was due to expire in December 2012.
