Kenyans to face off in Tanzania's Elite battle

The Tanzania Vodacom Premier League will on Thursday 1 November 2012 host a top of the table clash between Coastal Union and Azam FC at the Azam Complex starting 1700Hrs.

Azam FC’s Kenyan defender Ibrahim Bura Shikanda will lineup targeting to stop his country mate and Coastal Union midfielder Jerry Santo in the match expected to be an explosive affair.

Third slot battle

The match will be an outright battle for the third slot on the standing with the latter [Coastal Union] storming into the big boys party this season and stirring the waters.

Ice-cream makers Azam FC could however enjoy a softer landing since they have two unplayed matches while their counterparts have a game at hand.

Coastal Union are however favored by their recent run in the league having won three of their last five matches while Azam FC have won two. The two have lost once in the last five matches.

This will also be Stawart Hall’s first match since he was rehired by Azam FC from Kenya’s Sofapaka FC.
