Unless he makes a move, Kenyan striker Sunday Odindia Eyenga will be playing fourth tier football in Sweden in the coming season.
Struggled most of the season
This comes after his side Sleipner IK failed to survive the chop from the third tier Division One (Southern) when the curtains came to a close on the league with the final match day 26 games played on Saturday 27 October 2012.
Sleipner failed to move off spot 12, the last of three relegation slots in the 14-team league despite getting a 1-2 away win over Oddevold.
Sleipner struggled most of the season but did well in the later stages to leap off the bottom spot to 12th.
Fine run on the personal front
The side could have survived the chop had Limhamn Bunkeflo failed to pick maximum points in a home game against Utsikten.
Limhamn Bunkeflo won their final tie 2-1 to end the season with 28 points, same as Sleipner who had a worse goal difference.
Eyenga, 32 will however console himself as he had a fine run on the personal front. Once again he emerged at the club’s top scorer after sinking in eight goals from 21 league games played.
